The room was huge and super comfortable, with a jaw-dropping private onsen that can fit several people at once. The staff offered free rides to the station and even organized a second bike for us to use. The bath was a welcome relief after long days of exploring. The dinner was sensational, especially the Omi beef and eel. The location was convenient, with plenty of nearby shops. The building itself felt old and beautiful, adding to the overall experience. Can't recommend this place enough!

Simply no reason to complain, wonderful stay. Beautiful, fairly clean hotel in a quiet area. The rooms with a comfy futon and a Jacuzzi, as example. Nice location easy walk to Yonbancho Square. Walking distance to main shopping street and a shopping street across the street.

As a solo traveler, I really appreciated the friendly staff at this ryokan. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and even arranged a doctor's visit for me when I needed one. The traditional room was surprisingly spacious, and the bath was incredibly relaxing. The owner even gave me a ride to the train station when I checked out. the hospitality and amenities at this ryokan were top-notch.

loved staying at the traditional ryokan in hikone. spacious rooms, friendly host, and a perfect location near the castle and harbour. the onsen and toilets were well maintained. a true ryokan experience with delicious japanese breakfast. even got a lift back to the station. exceeded expectations.
